All financial aid applications need to be submitted each year and are processed by an independent verification system called FACTS. Information contained in the application along with supporting materials, including tax information is used to determine financial need. The formula utilized has been especially designed for families with children attending Catholic school.  This calculation is based on a moderate standard of living for the geographic area of the applicant, further ensuring a realistic result.  This formula determines the ability of a family to pay for private education.  FACTS includes a comprehensive review and verification process confirming the accuracy of the data.  Financial aid is available to students enrolled in all grades. 
There is an application fee per family to apply for financial aid. This application fee will be credited to the final tuition bill if the family qualifies for aid, receives aid, and sends their child to a Diocesan or Parish school. 
All families applying for financial aid must also apply for aid from the New Hampshire
Children’s Scholarship Fund (Education Tax Credit Scholarships) and the Education
Freedom Account program.  These programs allow qualifying families (currently up to 350% of the poverty level) to receive scholarships payable to the school for tuition as well as direct a portion of the funds spent by the state for their child’s schooling to other educational expenses as the family chooses.   Coordination with school business staff is essential to the accurate and timely administration of these awards.  Families must agree to ongoing communication and proper documentation requirements for the school to successfully apply all the funds. 
Regina Maria Academy will annually award financial aid to families. Funds are limited, and returning families are given priority. As stated in our philosophy, this process will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and respect for each family’s personal situation. 
As a guideline, families requesting up to 33% of the total tuition on their financial aid application will be awarded the requested amount provided FACTS confirms their need.   Families who request more than 33% of the total tuition in financial aid and who, according to FACTS, need more than 33% of the tuition, must schedule an in-person meeting with the school leader to determine how much the family can afford and structure a mutually agreed upon payment plan. 
Financial Aid Application Deadlines

1. Returning and New Families:  February 1st (provisional application); April 15th (finalized application)
2. New Families Applying After April 15th:  Due upon completion of Student Application

1. To complete an application go to https://online.factsmgt.com/aid where returning families will sign into their account, or new families will create a new account and apply for the first time.
2. Families may add as many students to their financial aid application as they wish and as many Catholic schools as they wish.
3. New Hampshire families applying for financial aid from one or more Catholic schools must also add The Children’s Scholarship Fund as one of their schools. For more information, go to https://nh.scholarshipfund.org.
4. Upon completion of the financial aid application and submission of supporting documents, school leaders will schedule meetings with each qualifying family to determine financial aid based on the family’s specific needs.
5. Families who receive financial aid are encouraged to assist the school by volunteering in various ways during the school year.
6. Financial aid allocations are determined by the finance committee of the board.Again, all information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and respect for each family's personal situation.
7. A financial aid application must be completed each year.
8. The school must receive applications by May 1st for each school year to help speed the process. The disposition of each application will be determined before July 1st.
9. Families receiving financial aid are expected to remain current with their portion of the financial obligations (tuition, fees, incurred expenses)
10. Families receiving financial aid are encouraged to volunteer their time to helpthe school community.
